new beginning of the end?

Hey Guardians,

I played a lot of D1 and D2 but i stopped playing because of the rep questlines in the final shape dlc. Is this new DLC a new start of everything. Weapons, armor, lvl, story. Thnx for your response

Edge of Fate/Year of Prophecy is the start of a new multiyear story saga. Part of the updates is massive UI overhaul and armor/weapon system changes. Going by the videos, the power floor will drop back down in the low hundreds and increase from there again.
As far as rep story lines in Final Shape, I don't know what you're talking about.

This is a new start, with new and returning characters. There are dev blogs on the destiny website that talk about upcoming changes, as well as the reveal stream yesterday. If you can't be bothered to read or watch those, then I'd wonder what interest in the game you still have.
