PvP has gone to ♥♥♥♥

Reinstalled and hopped into 1 game. You can see that what was taking place a year ago is now in full effect. TTK is through the roof, everyone uses the same gear due to the high TTK, certain abilities are beyond OP still. How does anyone enjoy playing this? D2 used to be amazing in pvp and actually took skill, game has been dumbed down to be enjoyable while using 0% brain power. Its just sad.

PvP has been... Questionable since D1, I have not yet enjoyed Destiny 2's PvP, in fact I do it for pinnacle and then I don't touch it.

It has always been awful IMO, probably the worst PvP experience next to COD rn

ive played on and off since launch and i have to agree with you. never once have i enjoyed paying pvp in d2. i used to bare with it for the pinnacle drop but its not worth the wasted time for a single pin drop to me anymore. the only game mode that is decent is team scorch since you cant use abilities or other weapons for the current meta cheese

It's been said multiple times already by a multitude of others but I'll say it once more.
PVP was an after-thought in Destiny.
Gambit and Trials are the only fun modes.

LUL talk about "talent" (i think you mean aim) on destiny the shooter with more aim assist and bullet magnetism of the market

you played this game when? when the meta was Mida multitool- 120s or what the ttk alwais have been the same 0.67 aprox the problem of the current crucible is not the restrictive weapon meta that i agree is garbaje but alwais have been the same on D2 is the ammount of buffs and 3.0 subclasses stuff that increase the tkk like restoration-oversields-spark of resistance ect

Look at the last Iron Banana mode. Bubblehorde titans turning the center point into a Venn diagram with overlapping bubbles, ducking in and out of each other's bubbles to fruitlessly punch each other. Hunters bouncing their oneshot ranged melee around corners.

They don't care, and you shouldn't either.

Thats where im at, immediately uninstalled it again, maybe ill be back in another year to see if progress has been made, but this is not it.

The only part of this thread I take issue with is the idea that it was ever good. It wasn't. I've been here the entire time and have been forcing myself into pvp for whatever reason, and I'd just like to go ahead and dispel that idea. PvP has never been good.
