Will Bungie add VOID primary weapons?

I have seen the cold power ones, but no legendary void ones

EDIT: apparently I have the terminology wrong, was trying to find out if there were void weapons for the top slot, as there are with the Darkness/Freeze thingie.

there are lots of void legendary primary weapons: palindrome, gnawing hunger, ikelos hand cannon just to name a few. any weapon that doesn't use special or heavy uses primary ammo and there are several void primaries.

They don't go in the primary slot even though they are kinetic.

The first slot is the kinetic slot, primary is an ammo type.

OK maybe I have the terminology backwards. I am trying to figure out if there is, or will be, a VOID weapon for the first slot. Does that clarify?

This isn't Destiny 1.

In Destiny 2 we have a KINETIC, ENERGY, and POWER/HEAVY slot. Any kinetic or stasis weapons go in slot 1 regardless of if they use primary or special ammo, any energy weapon being solar/void/arc goes into the second slot regardless of using primary or special ammo, and weapons that use heavy ammo go into the 3rd slot regardless of element.

A void weapon can not go in the first slot, it only go in the second slot just like and kinetic/stasis weapon can't go in the second slot.
