People AFK during Forge...

Is there incentive to this? I'm trying my best to get Iznagi's Burden and today 100% of the people I played with were afk not bothering charging the forge. Is there a secret I'm missing or did I just have horrible luck with teammates?

From what I understand, the forges are being used to for umbral engrams, which is a new type of engram that allows you to get the gear for this season.

Currently, these umbrall engrams are bugged and are giving people higher light-level gear then what it should.

People are afking the forges to farm them and get to light level 1050 as fast as possible.

I'm not going to tell you why they're doing it but the basic idea is that they're just AFK farming. If you'd like to do forges, get a little group going. I'm looking to do forges if you'd like.

Edit: The beans have been spilled, there's a low chance of getting an umbral engram even if you don't get past the first stage of ignition. The AFK farming isn't really worth it and just ruins the forges for the rest of us. Report them and move on.

they aren't doing an afk farm proplerly. right now if you just sit in forges you can grind umbral engrams. youre supposed to lower your light down to under 750 so you are only matched with other farmers but some people are too lazy. it kinda sucks. especially since they COULD do it without ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up other peoples games.

You know, I actually agree with reporting these people. if they cant take the time to lower their power level low enough, then that's on them.

If you don't throw batteries in the forge, you have a chance to get a shadow memory crystal or 50 change elements at the end of one minute. A lot of people hang up to brush these things

Lmao no, it doesn't depend on batteries at all. You just get them randomly from any activity.

like i stated before its because their power level isnt below 750. just report them

Free seasonal engrams and currency while you eat, sleep, poop, or work.

But any decent player should have their power level below 700 so they aren't ruining game for others.

They could probably make it so that if you don't have any participation, you don't get rewards, pretty easily. This is just ridiculous.

I had the same experience yesterday, most of them leave their game afk overnight and my sense of justice is telling me to finish at least the 1st part so they'll be booted to orbit. Lol.

When this was 1st discovered, everyone would put on low light armor and Halloween mask to get matched with other afk farmers. Guess people are just ♥♥♥♥♥ now :v

Maybe I do a few forges later just for that reason.
