Though come September I would be PC player counts will rise due to cross save.
Also PC is packed! I always see old and new players patroling. Strikes, PvP the same. Destiny is a more active place as last year for sure.
Here's hoping they do away with them for the Steam release (inb4 they dilute the playerbase further by setting up region settings via download region... please no).

Been playing since 12 am pst - 5 and im still seeing alot of people i was a lil worried as well but im satisfied
Also, recently it was noted that the player base jumped to ever a Million ACTIVE daily players, while Activision Lost over 6 Million in its player base since Bungie left. Doesnt say whether thats PC or Console, But I'd Bet those numbers are split half and half roughly
