What do people that bought the game get?
Do the players that bought the game before it became free to play get anything?

bragging about what? Paying to get ahead in a free game?

a sense of pride and accomplishment. along with the thousands of hours you could have put into the game to hone your skills for Sparrow racing

Do you get anything when a game you bought two years ago gets given away for free as a promotion? Most 2 years old games lose a ton of value. Why would you get anything, apart from having been able to play the game 2 years before F2P players?

You assume I did buy it 2 years ago. What does determine the value of a digital product?

Anybody who bought the game and/or first year DLC prior to that content going free to play get the comforting knowledge that they received the items they chose to pay for, when they chose to pay for them.

Seriously, this is 2 year old content, the prices of games go down over time, we got everything we paid for and a big head start on anybody just getting into the game now. We're fine.

*Looks at Heart of the Swarm upgrade I got for having bought Wings of Liberty before it went F2P*

Do you also demand you be compensated when the car you bought years ago is no longer worth what you paid when it was new?
Thats not really an excuse.

Its the same punch in the face that had been given to loyal costumers who bought Forsaken. People who onnly owned vanilla D2 gotten CoO and WM for free, and all we got was a 'coin flip' emote and a shader from D1.....

On top of that, we purchased the DLC which lacked a ton of content to support this game up to the point where d2 seemed to actually become good (That being Forsaken, which shouhld of been D2 at vanilla launch.). We put in the money.

Offcourse we expect at least some kind of premium service like most games that went f2p....

And we still have to buy shadowkeep... along with all DLC passes but honestly, micro transactions, which where a problem back then, are going to destroy this game beyond repair.

We complained so much about this, and alot of other features (EA Enhancement Cores being one of them,.... and now many theyr locked inside the season pass, woohoo)... XD

So no, We put in the money, to play a game, in a good state, and this is far from it. You have to understand people's frustration in that regard. Its not about 'being able to play" its that we litterally get nothing extra.

We dont even get a special emblem.

There's games out there that litterally give you founderstatus that have done this...

So no, Bungie wont ever see a purchase from me anymore. I said that in another topic. I will say it again. I just roam this forum cause I am genuinely interested in the constructed complains going on, that used to be on the bungie forum.

I bet the whole steam community only sees that as whining.

The issue with forcing players to buy into DLC to play endgame is that they essentially have no challenging content to play anymore if that is what they enjoy. It's the same issue as the campaign being too easy for new players but instead it alienates long term fans.

Also, nice job mods.

Don't give me hope. The only thing i've wanted them to port over has been SRL and i'm gonna cry if it isn't here come dawning time.
