I like the game, but it's frustrating...
After finishing My Time at Portia a year ago, I thought this game would be easier as it builds on its predecessor, I'm finding myself constantly being clueless about what I'm supposed to do next.

I'm stuck on fixing the stage as I haven't found where to get the mineral I'm supposed to have with the copper. I lack equipment capable of tearing down the stage. I have been mining but just get copper. I can't see any plans I need to get for rebuilding the stage...

Any advice would be appreciated...

It sounds like you might have blitzed through the dialogue. The game tells you a lot of these things.

A lot of the info you're neediing, try using the furnace and mouse over the recipe or check the in game encyclopedia (or the wiki).

You get Tin in two ways. Either on the lower levels of abandoned ruins below Rocky's scrapyard - use the lift you built to get there. Or buy it directly from Rocky's store.

The item to build the bronze pickhammer, mouse over the recipe on the worktable menu. You buy the sharpening stone from Hugo's store.

Open the assembly station menu. There isn't one recipe to rebuild the stage, there's two and you signed up to do one of those tasks. Check which one in the mission tab.

When you open the assembly station menu, you'll see a small blue banner hanging down on one of those (either on the stage support or stage background), that's the one you picked.

As soon as you begin building an item on the assembly station the worktable will register this so if you e.g. need loudspeakers for the build on the assembly station the worktable will suggest you to build these.

Thanks. I'll look into it.

And mine!! you need the data discs to get Qi to give you the blueprints to build machines ....

Yep. Keep Qi busy researching machines for you. Start with the Processor and Grinder. After those the level 2 version of the Recycler, processor and grinder are good options. When you want to move into producing higher quality items have him research the Refiner and the Ore Refinery.
