Is it harder for gamepad users? or its just me?

well the title? i was recently playing f1 2019 but this game seems harder to me what do you guys think? (i am mostly asking to gamepad/controller users)

This game does have some differences in how Grip works, so you've to adapt to it, no matter if you're a pad- or a wheel-driver.

which gamepad you're using?

using an official Xbox One pad with micro USB to hook into the PC - for me personally its the best it has ever been.

I use an xbox elite pad and I like to play with no driving aids except for the automatic transmission, but I suffer from severe understeering during turns and the car has a bad tendency of spinning while accelerating from the first gear to the second one.

Same here I put traction control on medium.

Playing with wheels feels good but is not even close to gamepad. Pros all play with gamepads. Shorter reaction time.

I actually siwtched from wheel to xbox controller the other day, because for whatever reason my g29 just doesn't want to turn the car. at some point I'll find the right settings but I find the control scheme more responsive on the controller

Medium traction control has lost efficiency when used with gamepad / keyboard. Especially when the track is wet.
So it's true, people with steering wheels have more advantage now.

used gamepad (dual shock 4) on 2019 and 2020, i believe its a little easier in 2020
