Linux dedicated server received optimize boost, now similar to Windows performance/features

if you have issues with the ingame server browser then
try to use the STEAM client server browser instead ...

STEAM > menu View > Servers > at bottom in filters choose game "Arma 3"
pick server and play

We need a severe improvente on the rendering and parser speed before all this DLC roadmap (specially in low end machines). Now KOH is more LAG on Kabala for me.

What i don't understand is Ingame we cannot find eachothers servers, now with the steam server viewer (in the original post) I can see his server but its not named what he named it, instead its under an IP for the name and the server is "not responding" so I cant join him and he can't join me.

Literally last night we were able to play but not now

PS we would have to switch to GAMESPY to be able to join/see eachothers servers, do we need to switch something?

We're in the same boat. Now that Gamespy is gone we can't find each other at all. Would appreciate some guidance, and I looked at the links mentioned and had no idea how it was relevant.

The Workaround with the Steam Server browser is not working.Same with other links mentioned in the first post. Last Night i could open a new Server, all my Friends joined. No Probs. And now? nobody can find my Server. Any smart advice, oh mighty developer ? (and yes, the last sentence was SARCASM).

Hey devs those links are completly irrelavant on how to host your own server with your friends. Please give more info on how to make you own server (not dedotated) like on gamespy. Because shutting down your players ability to play with there friends privately is really BS

I really hope hosting in game is being looked at. My group of friends isn't big enough to look at setting a dedicated server for.

Just so we're clear we're talking about Start game > Multiplayer > New > Internet (Friends can't join as of this patch)
