How can I maximize my DPS against fleshy bulky zombie breeders/bases?

Try out some of the other cannon weapons, they seem more effective to me.

if ur fighting breeders then use mass driver cannons mass drivers. along with leech emitters and ion emitters for zombie ships that are simply infected

What's the deal with Mass Drivers? They only seem to do like 30 damage per hit
