Game without H-patch: A heartwarming game where the main character must overcome her social anxiety in-order to get her friends back into university and finally graduate, funnily enough only the main character graduates because she's smart.

Game with H-patch: lol what do you think.

I had to do some serious thinking about why I don't recommend this title. Assuming you have the 18+ patch, it's a fairly generic Kagura Games game, being that you play someone that eventually becomes a mega perverted individual who has sex with most if not all of the males that she comes across. What I like about Kagura Games is that they always manage to turn normal situations into sexual ones, which is something I like a lot.

However, this game sold you on the idea of playing a socially awkward woman. When the game gives you a choice of getting a makeup or not, choosing to stay socially awkward puts you on an ultra-linear course where you don't get to really do anything and just leads to a couple of scenes and then ends the game. The game really forces you to take the more extroverted route, in which the "socially awkward" character becomes immediately extroverted. This ends up making it feel almost the same as any other Kagura Games work.

The game also has an issue with character pixel models not matching their CG counterpart, which kind of breaks the immersion and makes it feel lazy when they reuse a scene's graphic for the twentieth time. This becomes an issue as the main theme of the game is sexual encounters and you will see dozens of scenes in the game, but not a whole lot in the way of changing images presented on screen.

There IS a gallery to the game, but it is hidden through a 100% completion of the Bold (sexual) path and discovering some secrets throughout the game. That is the only way to access the gallery, there is nothing on the title screen to follow with. There are also some additional paths that start to be unlocked if you do the Pure (Level 1 Boldness) path on the main game, but they are short linear mini-stories that don't do much to enhance the overall feel of the game. I actually feel like the game would have improved more without those elements there.

I feel like I would have recommended this game if there was similar freedom in being socially awkward. A lot of Kagura Games projects end up putting you along one of two paths depending on your own actions, that being submissive or dominant. I feel like it would have been as simple as saying "Makeover = Dominant, No Makeover = Submissive" but the fact that remaining socially awkward just puts you on a linear path means that once you finish a playthrough (which is short), there really isn't much that you missed in the game.

For a $16 experience, I'd much rather play a game like Treasure Hunter Claire, Brave Alchemist Colette, or Meltys Quest just because they actually kind of stayed true to what they advertised the game as. If you're looking for a game about a socially awkward girl, this isn't the game for you. It's sad to not recommend a Kagura Games work, but it just has some issues with its presentation that just doesn't justify the price point that they're asking for.

4/10. I'm a big fan of the games published by Kagura Games so it's tough for me to say this -- I do not recommend purchasing this game at full price. I do think it's decent enough if you can pick it up during a Steam sale.

Cons: After playing a bunch of Kagura Games' releases, I feel like my expectations are pretty high when it comes to the story. Country Girl Keiko doesn't offer much in terms of plot nor character development, it's kind of straight up stupid at least for the main game. There isn't much you can do, the mechanics are all over the place (NPC's just running around until they get stuck somewhere) and hardly any use for the items that are available for purchasing in the game. The art is too simple and repetitive, I found myself skipping mature scenes because it's the same stuff every time. And don't get me started with the black hole vaginas.

Pros: This comes with three extra games which ironically has better stories in my opinion. Also somewhat better art, with more angles and more use of the artists' imagination. In fact, I'd say I didn't feel like I wasted my money and time with this game due to the additional chapters.

Also you should know that this includes certain themes you might not like, such as mind control / drugging and shotacon (though the art is just so bad you won't even notice).

To summarize, the main game of Country Girl Keiko is pretty bad but the additional chapters you can play after finishing the first game makes up for it. I just expect more from the games published by Kagura Games.

I'll give this honestly about a 5/10, it's an okay rpg maker game, but its relatively short which is okay if there is replay value in the game, but theres no replay value, about a 2 hour long game, for the asking price of about $15, i would wait til the price is much much cheaper, it was fun but once you know what to do, this probably could take 30 minutes or less to actually go through, wait til the price is done before giving this game a try, I recorded it on my Youtube if anybody wants to see just a lets play of it

The only great thing about this game is the art of the female characters. Story, gameplay, and music are meh.

A lot of people were saying this was NTR, but it's not. Just normal drug/corruption. Everything happens too fast too, nothing is really earned.

I'll be frank, game is straight up boring. You start with Keiko, a gloomy girl, who is an introvert and wants to improve into her first year in elementary (?)/ middle (?) school. The game doesn't tell what school Keiko is going. You see her, a grown teen going to school with elementary school kids??? Her class involves shotas, 1 teen and her sister.
With 3 endings available, its either she's pure, normal?, village slut
The story is confusing and boring, there is no link or history of the village.
The DLCs includes Black, School Trip and After Story.
Black is Kiri's POV and how she turns into a slut
School Trip is just Keiko going on a trip with another school
After Story is just short stories

You just walk around the village trying to find your classmates to go back into class either through normal methods or sexual methods.
That's it, once you get all the students to go back to class. The game is over

The H scenes are still images. There's literally no changes in expressions what's so ever.
Its just wall of texts and that's about it. There's virtually no audio apart from occasionally having some claps
The variety of scenes is so minimal, its overly used in every scene
Either flashing herself while introducing herself, sandwiching a sausage or getting pounded
The variety applies to Aya, Kiri and Keiko

Verdict:
Unless you are able to handle still images of dumb big titty girl becoming a slut
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT getting this game, even if its on sale. Spend your time and money elsewhere
There's a better summer/village girl type game published by Kagura Games

Patch is downloadable on Kagura Games website for the exquisite H content

I love the game not for the sex scenes but for the simplicity of playing w/o it having the complex elements of other games in its genre.
