I don't even own the game yet and I'm very happy to see this change. The correct move and it will pay off in the long run devs. Great decision

beautiful move lads. very proud to see the team move towards this. Was already a fan of how generous they were with the passes and cosmetics but this is just an amazing change.

Very glad that games are gradually moving towards this method rather than in-game monetization - prior to this, the only game i could think of that did a completely free "battlepass" thing with prior battlepass cosmetics being unlockable through loot drops was deep rock

They had a good design already. You could buy the premium pass for free basically if you got to lvl 100 or if you followed their discord they gave away 300 shinies to everyone so you could have gotten the premium pass for free at lvl 70 (which took me about 15 hours to get to).

A huge win on the developers. Admittedly I was getting a little burned out with the recent updates that spiked the difficulty, but I'm definitely looking forward to revisiting the next major update.

Nonetheless I do think the developers are doing a great job with player feedback, and improving the game as a whole.

Very good move. I've been vocal in the discord (at least around the start of the EA launch) and with friends, and this is a move I highly praise. I will be sure to let friends know about it.

I did invest a little bit for awesome skins and gear. Oh well fine i respect it. Still if there in game earned rewards to customize your ink char over time. I be glad :)

I didnt understand what will happen with the premium rewards from a season track you bought but didnt reach the reward level to claim it, you will get them no matter what on the transition date or you will loose your last chance to get it without purchasing the asocciated DLC?

From the announcement:
2. Anyone who owned either The Story Begins premium pass or The Starship of Terrors premium pass will immediately be granted all unclaimed rewards out of the premium track.

Good move IMO, similar to Deep Rock Galactic. If you make a good game, fans will throw money at you.
