This game is really relaxing to play. Also great sound design and soundtrack. Worth the price!

Crumble is a cool little indiegame where you play as a slime rolling through different environment at incredible speeds and able to use it's tongue to grapple on to objects and swing around. The game main mechanics is grappling and jumping to complete levels. Depending on how it's executed it could lead to different results of a run/mission.

The game is fun & the mechanic grappling is easy to use, but a bit harder to master.

Crumble shocked me and wowed me more than i thought it would, i managed to nab it for free but honestly i'd have been willing to pay full price for this gem.

Gameplay is a 3D grappler platformer, there's not much depth in terms of the game mechanically, you can go stupidly fast and swing your way to the end of every level, with some additional side collectables here and there, it makes exploring the environments plenty of fun and is the nice opposite to the speedrun stars which require you to finish a level in a set time, the game starts pretty simple and by world 7 you're seriously expected to be blitzing through levels, it gets rough so be prepared if you're doing all stars, otherwise all achievements is much easier comparatively.

Visually this game is stunning, it shares elements with a hat in time and boy this game invoked some strong emotion in me throughout, even if there's no story the levels are absolutely beautiful and oozing with clean designs and VFX, i want to especially point out world 4 which starts as a calm birdhouse styled slums area and as 4D approaches the whole area becomes nighttime and stormy, accompanied by the music i've never felt so terrified of a storm effect in a game in ages, and that's just using simple effects and environment design to create strong ambience.

The music is very nice too, i actually tried to find it on spotify/youtube but alas no luck, which is a shame since the music features a lot of piano with strong character to it, the aforementioned storm level starts calm and instantly the song turns manic, the music in basically every level and the grand finale level is awesome too, definitely not something i expected going into this but i am humbled by how good it is.

Overall this game exceeded my expectation massively, gameplay wise its decently flawed and a tad janky here and there, but i can overlook it when the amount of effort put into the environments created is just insane, for that i give it a full seal of approval and look forward to if the dev makes any future projects!
