Flying squid enemies

I think that these enemies are teleporting too often. Sometimes it takes several minutes to catch one. It's especially annoying when it is the last enemy on the level.

I've done okay against these guys by rushing to them after a teleport and forming a very tight circle around them with bomblets. If they teleport to a spot that's far away or I just don't get to quickly enough, I don't even try to surround them, just wait for them to move again.

That works but way too risky.

Risky, how? They don't try to run into you or anything if you're nearby. The only thing with these guys is that they stick around for a random amount of time, often blinking out way before it's possible to surround them.
