Players in VR can do a lot of things that should not be possible. But at the same time, it is hard to restrict them without making the game feel unnatural.
What we've decided is that we will allow players to get into areas they shouldn't be (like with the jail) but we stop you from picking up important items until you actually unlock the door.

Ok but why to allow to go into the jail with the teleport ?
I mean VR players can throught wall when they walk in the real life but not with teleport.
When we could get into the jail without open it, we didn't know if it was a bug or no, so we were lost in the order of puzzle (can we see the map into jail or it's too early)
I think you need to prohibit to get into the jail with teleport.
