Why can't I fight with my fists

I'm on the mission and I can't even fight those 4 people that you gotta fight when walking sarah home it like my mouse ain't work like wtf???

Due to a bug, you have to play the Sarah mission with the standard keyboard mapping for melee combat. In particular, Q for melee attack and Alt for counter.
