I'm honestly wondering if all these people just jumped on the hype train, them bought the game day 1 without ever finishing or even having touched the first game and not even done any research on what the game was about.
And all these "pros" who beat Radiance blindfolded but think Silksong is way too difficult especially compared the Hollow Knight baffle me the most.
I haven't played the first game in years. Not even 60 hours total (admittably I'm missing two bosses. Final one of the last DLC and Radiance for the 112 clear) and the first ten hours have been absolutely fine. Every boss was, like Hollow Knight 1, absolutely my own fault when I died and I knew what to do better.
Yes, there are things that are legitimate annoying and worse than the prev game. The difficulty isn't one of those though.
And frankly, it's okay if someone doesn't enjoy the game. Not every game needs to be for everyone. Make a review with all the games shortcomings in your eyes and move on. Ignoring the apparently really bad Chinese Localisation (which def needs to be fixed) the game is still sitting at 90%. So it must do something right for most people apparently.
Whoops
Man, it's really sad to see devs so disparaging to their own customer base.
Leave it. They're only cool in words.
