You can already find anything from double rosaries to invincibility...
Have you ever heard of artistic freedom?
If a studio thinks their game shouldn't have difficulty options, then you have to respect this.
The end result when restricting visions can be seen in Justice League (2017) vs Justice League Snyder Cut (2021).
So yeah, if you want JL (2017) go and mod the game, but don't dumb it to that level for everyone.
Also it's really dumb to compare a game difficulty setting with a theatrical cut for a movie. Those aren't remotely comparable to each other.
Difficulty settings alter the artistic vision and introduce more need for testing, so if the developers doesn't WANT to offer it - they don't have to.
You can mod the game if you want.
It's just a lot of the arguments against having difficulty options are kind of sh*t, because games like Nine Sols do easier difficulty options just fine.
Being bad at a game (or games in general) is not a bad thing. Blaming the developer for your lack of skill/patience is immature.
Finally, someone who actually understands.
Artistic freedom.
Art doesn't have to cater to you.
If you like the Mona Lisa, but you want it to have a moustache.
You don't go to the Louvre and modify the original painting.
Feel free to download a digital photography/copy and modify it there, for yourself, with a moustache and maybe some tattoos.
Same goes for this game, if the developers don't want difficulty options, feel free to download a mod.
There is also no shame in that.
I hope you can enjoy the game more!
