Red flowers need adjusting
There is no way to consistently hit the red flowers to jump off of when they zig zag up. Hornet simply doesn't get high enough half the time to hit the next one. I end up just doing the downward attack back to the ground. Would be great if an accessibly option for auto aiming that was available. Not that it'd help much when hornet simply can't get high enough.

just get gud nub
It feels so awkward having to press down to use her attack on them, but also needing to face the correct direction, and having to be the correct 45 degree angle away from them in order to get them to work. I miss Hollow Knight's straight down attack.

I agree completely. It's a fun development on Hollow Knight's nail pogo, but the precision required is just unreasonable.
No, it's not a fun development. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. It's a glaring problem on an otherwise great game.

Team Cherry: just give us choice. Down for regular, down diagonal for dash. Let us wiff it a load of times by not being accurate, but don't take away choice.

It's a fun upgrade but having to do a quarter stick turn is not.

^this, nothing wrong with the idea, but the execution is botched
any string of 3+ flower jumps feels harder than the entire path of pain
could use option to make flowers a tad bigger and/or bounce you up a tad more

I love 'em. Had no issue at all on M+KB.
112% Hollow Knight - I don't even want to complete this game a second time.

That pogo gets real way WAY worse late game its infuriating ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Agreed. I refunded the game and this was one of my reasons. Along with a long trek without a bench only to finally find one that ends up being trapped and kills me.

I brought it for someone - they asked for something else as it just made them set their controller aside and say 'I've got some school work to go do'. And they just went and did chores.
I was wondering why something felt off about this game. The controls immediately felt loose and floaty compared to HK1 when I started playing this, and now I find red flowers and already want to quit. There is no consistency to how high and what direction you come out of the bounce, no consistency to whether you pressed down to do the attack, and no consistency to even when the silly diagonal attack last long enough to hit what you aimed for.
Half the reason HK1 was such a good game was the EXTREMELY tight controls. No one would ever have finished the hidden bouncing thorn paths otherwise.

Y'all get used to it over time... It's a new gimmick. When you doing it precisely and beat those segments you feel like a pro

On gamepad it's like 2X harder for some reason there not that hard on M&K so yea it's not fun challenging it's just annoying.
