My Sims isn't launching

Can somebody tell me how to get Sims:Medieval to launch?I click it and it won't launch,but it says im playing.

I'm having the exact same problem. It's apparently not compatible with Windows 8, so you'll either have to BEG for a refund or just admit you've been suckeed out of $20 from EA

I've bought it today and I'm having the exact same issue. This is just typical. EA won't fix something and steam sells it probably knowing it's not working. Sorry if that sounds harsh. Was just looking forward to this game and spent £20. On it and the expansion. It may have been on sale but that's still a decent amount out of my pocket.

Got it to work on Origin by registering the codes that come with the game on the sims 3 website. Saw it in someone's review. Once on Origin the games should show up there. Right click it and repair.

Oh and I have windows 8 and it worked by doing that.

I just bought the Sims Medieval as well and had the exact same problem. I am interested in the solution that you found through Origin. Do you mean that you purchased the game through Steam and then were able to get it working by using Origin? I've been up for hours trying to fix this. What codes are you referring to? Thank you for any help. You're the first person that I've seen on any forum all night that actually found a way to get it to work.

There's a code that comes with Sims Medieval on steam. That code can be used on the sims 3 site to register it in their redeem codes section I believe and since your login for sims 3 is connected to the Origin account... or uses the origin account then it should show up in origin once registered.

Others may be of more help. Just thought I'd give it a try. But once it's on Origin right click the game and select repair. If you have the game already mostly installed. Otherwise you can just remove the steam one and install it via origin.

Thank you for your help. I eventually got the program to work by putting the code that was given to me through Steam into the Sims website code registration. Then, I accessed the game through Origin after right clicking on it and using repair game. It's been working perfectly. :)
