Definitive Edition
Definitive Edition
hint hint
AoE II Definitive Edition has DLC.
If dlc were, developed, announced and released for AoE D.E II / III and IV
then why did Forgotten Empires / Tantalus skip AoE D.E.
regarding any dlc other than soundtrack ?!
Maybe this -easy to find- old news might convince you...

As I've mentioned before I'd settle for a stability and AI focused patch.
And AoE3 has expansions too
Anyway, I'd appreciate it if Microsoft brought more civilisations to Age 1, but I think at best we must count on mods to simulate them.
One for Northern Europe as that area is mysteriously missing.
Snow terrain, Germanic Civ, Gaul civ, etc.
