Hi here I made up reasons why its like thar

1. Glasswings can have very good motor skills and live in human form, Mayfly demonstrates supreme athleticsm and agility skills. This means the Glass wing are very in tune to their body and dexterity and, they can control their wings and body very naturally without worry. This level of intelligence in using their body is very valuable in mentally robust people. Therefore subliminally and mentally, they could be less effected in perception by whatever causes demons to become monsters and wild, primitive creatures due to mastery in body.

2. Its harder for the monster causing thing to work in the humanoid body, but it can easily effect older generations of creatures like dinosaurs and sharks.

3. The monsters are the most innate and violent form of demons, the boss battle showed they do have intelligence in hunting things. But they are limited to this perception of wild life rather than having civilized thought like Ferrace.

4. Mayfly doesn't have brain damage while many other demons do. Therefore, she is able to think clearly, rationally whereas these are gaps in brain damaged demons. Therefore, more susceptible to manipulative changes if they are not self aware
