Regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > VALVe > TestApp100970 > SteamKey entry is the key used to activate the program.
It was previously displayed on Steam directly , no idea why it's not showing anymore
Steam Offline is inconsistent and very unstable. It's not a reliable way for this.
This isn't my issue but it's one of another thing that might be cool for a lot of user too. The software already seems to have some lag even on highend specs like me lol
Speed issues aren't something you should be seeing on high spec computers unless you're working with very large documents or large tools. If you are, please contact us at support@artrage.com with the details.
ArtRage does use lots of resources because we're simulating the physical properties of paint and for any layer you may find up to five times as much data being used as in an app that just tracks the colour of the pixels on a flat canvas. There will always be a gap between the visible end of the stroke and the cursor input point as you paint however - This isn't a speed thing, it's because we're simulating the blending of paint under a brush head and the system doesn't know how the resulting stroke is going to look until the brush has passed over that point. If you lift the stylus it should render the difference between the visible end and the cursor input point immediately.

I'm gonna send you an email as i get a lot of slowdown even on 1920x1080 document, which is kinda low IMO. Specially if the computer is very powerful.
Which info you look for exactly? Specs and OS?

Hi. I am looking to buy ArtRage. What is your advice as to where to buy it? Site or Steam? I am worried about having to use Steam (it's just another program running and can go down too) but it seems easier just to own it and be able to reinstall easily should I have to.
If you are looking into it right now and decide to (I hope so, to keep up with other software such as Game Maker which offers this) then will it be retroactive? Will I lose out by buying now and where is safest to buy from so that I will have a Steam key and non-Steam version if you decide that?
Obviously I want to buy it when it's still in the sale especially as I missed the 66% off deal.
How do serial keys work? Is it like GoG where you can download any number of times or use a key lots of times or is it like some games where it is limited and after your computer dies twice/you upgrade/you install on two computers of your own) it is gone for good? Thanks.
Let me know if you have any further questions though!

Dave
I would appreciate that very much if you could do that. Steam is great for games but poor for software in my experience. I'd also like to participate in the website more but am not sure if Ican do that if my version of artrage isn't registered.
