CameraBag 2

CameraBag 2

Broken software not fit for purpose.
As the title says, this software is essentially unusable on Windows7 64bit.

I purchased this two weeks ago and all it does is freeze or crash.

It does not do what it is supposed to do, nor is it usable.

Just a reminder, the system req's as listed on the store page are :

OS:Any Windows OS newer than (or including) Windows XP Service Pack 3
Processor:Any modern CPU
Memory:1 GB RAM

I'm running WIndows 7 64bit (check)
Core i7 cpu (check)
12gb Ram (check)

Now the really irritating thing is that I sent a ticket to Steam Customer services (the day after purchase) two weeks ago asking for a refund, citing these same reasons and my ticket hasn't even had a response yet.

Personally I think this is plenty of time to pick up and respond to a trouble ticket, even considering the holiday period.

Poor software and poor customer service makes me a sad bunny.

Sort it out folks or I'll finding out how to charge back my purchase price.

Kind Regards,

Have you tried deleting locals files and reinstalling? I'm on Windows 7 64bit, i5 & 16GB RAM, and it launched first try, and I've had no issues at all.

Running CameraBag 2 here on Windows 7 64bit, i7, 8GB RAM; like DJDeeJay above, not a problem here. Software runs great and is alot of fun to use.

try running it in compatibility-mode.

I just have to say, i7 core and 12gb so much money wasted on overkill.

I have the same problem I am running win 7 64bit i5 quadcore intel 16GB ram.
The software is not stable.

@DJDeeJay Yep, I've tried what you wrote, no change unfortunately, software is still very unstable for me. I'm thinking it may be conflicting with something else. I will get around to trying it on my laptop.

@ Ping, from your "informed" comment on my PC specification, you know exactly what I use my computer for then and my workflow?

No ?

:)

Same problem here. I cannot open a photo before the program crashes. (Windows 7 64bit, other specs are ok as well.)

well. I'm working with win7 x64 , with an i7 920 (now a Xeon x5670) and 30GB of ram and it always freezes opening jpg bigger than 10000x7000 pixels ] something needs to be fixed.
