Hi,
new to Silo and start to learn something but....

I'm on MAC and start with one of simple shortcut (Alt-C to create a cube), nothing happen.

After a while, found the setting for key mapping, I discover that many shortcuts with Alt key doesn't run.

Try to reset the Alt-C for create a cube, pressing obviusly "ALT and C", the shortcut saved is

ALT-©

and so for many (not for all)

Where is the problem?
How can fix it?

...I don't want to remap all the commands, also because starting as newbie I'd like to follow the tutorials, step by step, without search the command on menu.

Same problem for me. I don't think it's possible to fix it without actually remapping the keys but even in this case you'll still get problems with Alt and Ctrl buttons in displacement painting and many other areas. I suggest to send a bug report to Nevercenter.
