Help pick new games for Steam

In continuing with smaller, more frequent batches, we've just Greenlit six more games and one software title.

These titles were selected on the same criteria we have been using in the past: Votes in Greenlight give us a hugely valuable point of data in gauging community interest along with external factors such as press reviews, crowd-funding successes, performance on other similar platforms, and awards and contests to help form a more complete picture of community interest in each title.

Here are the latest titles advancing through Steam Greenlight, and being offered worldwide distribution via Steam:

This batch will be the second round of developers to run through a set of redesigned tools on Steam aimed at streamlining the process of shipping new titles.


As with past batches, these titles will be released independently in the weeks or months ahead, as they complete development and integrate with any of the Steamworks features they are interested in utilizing.

The 2D platformer/RPG, UnEpic has entered Early Access to test out a whole new multiplayer mode with new dungeons, new story, new spells and new adventures.



The developer says the single-player game is 100% complete, but cooperative and player-vs-player modes are being worked on and tested for balance and to add more dungeons.

The Greenlit game Akaneiro: Demon Hunters, has just become available via Steam Early Access for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Players can get into the game now by buying the Early Access Starter Pack, which includes a huge value of exclusive items and bonus in-game currency. The game will eventually become Free-to-play with the development supported via in-game purchases.



The developers, Spicy Horse Games, plan to continue introducing new features and is looking for feedback and suggestions from Early Access customers.
