Really big bug.
So I have an option to amputate a limb from someone who is infected and instead I get a warning message that ignores my choice forcing me to close the game or continue only if I pick live or kill. After this nothing apears on the diary.

Same thing happens to me.
No idea what's going on.

Hey guys, sorry to hear you hit a bug!

If you can provide the error message (a screenshot or text copy & paste), it'll help us track down the problem.
Señor Mango Aug 5, 2013 @ 11:49pm
I'll see if I crunch down and run through the game until I get it or find a screenshot.
Screwfly Studios  [developer] Aug 6, 2013 @ 4:19am
That's almost it, thanks Sir Chuckles. Unfortunately, we also need the information from clicking the "Details" button on the left there. It'll expand the window and provide you with extra stuff about the crash.
Fear57 Aug 6, 2013 @ 6:17am
I haven't hit the bug since in a while so maybe it's fixed, if I do find it again I'll upload the screen shot. :D
Señor Mango Aug 6, 2013 @ 12:43pm
I could not get a proper screenshot showing all the details, but here's some copy-pasta.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

It seems like you're able to replicate the bug fairly easily -- do you have a save game or failing that, steps to reproduce?

Your save game can be found at "My Documents\Zafehouse Diaries\save.zhs". Just email it me at logan@screwflystudios.com.
Fear57 Aug 6, 2013 @ 8:18pm
I don't have any saved games. Keep dying before I can. :P

No saved games.

But, all times I've encountered it, it was when the party had access to a hacksaw, someone who beleived they could save them (Two times was a surgeon, I forget the third), and an infected leg.
There have been no other issues. One was a patrol being attacked, one was an assault, the third was a surprise attack.

No worries, thanks for your help so far!

I do have some good news -- I found (and fixed) an issue which could cause the bug you've described, so I'm hoping that it'll be good for the next patch.
Señor Mango Aug 6, 2013 @ 9:11pm
Excellent.
