Price and Release Information?
Hey everyone, just asking around for some information. I have a feeling that the release date for this will most likely being in the first quarter of the new year (after the Christmas hustle-and-bustle is out of the way). I wondering though, does anyone have any idea on the price? I understand that giving a price to a unreleased game (and possibly still unfinished) game is somewhat weird, but anyone have any ideas? I would not expect a $60 price tag on this, but I would definitely be willing to pay that price if it needed to be that high. I was thinking around the $25 to $30 dollar region would make more sense since it is a single-player game and it is coming from a new developer. I am not saying the price needs to be this, but some indication would be nice so I can save for it so I can purchase it when it comes out.

I'm interested too, mostly on a release date "goal" (I don't expect a small new dev team to hold themselves too rigidly to a schedule, that'd be cruel :P), but something perhaps more specific than Valve time ;-) (now, those guys I don't let off the hook).

Perhaps system reccomendations are already somewhere, but they'd be interesting too. My trusty A6 with a 6250G2/6270G2/something AMD dual graphics-ish shouldn't be stressed too hard I imagine, but might as well check in case its optimisation isn't quite friendly with my computer's set up :P

You'll know exactly how the graphics will run on it by playing any other game on the Unreal 3 Engine.

I would say "true", but that's not really the case. Borderlands (which I think is Unreal 3?), Mass Effect and plenty of other U3 games run completely different on my comp performance wise (same case for Source games too ironically). Unless you've got a really good comp that's immune to all the sensitivities of different versions of the engine and different effects etc, in which case there's no reason to worry about system requirements.

But your comment still made me chuckle!

Ah. Makes sense. Sorry about that. I didn't take into account engine changes.

Haha no problem, what you said is still right, on principle, though. Just'll be interesting to get specifics I guess.

I would imagine if your rig can handle the LOD of any bethesda game AND the particle details from Metro 2033, this game should be just as attractive as it is scary... and the only smoother than the game running will be our friends posting videos of us screaming like girls.

All the same, for the sake of me E-penor I'd like to see the specs so I can go ahead and fantasy build me 'ROUTINE PC'

Sweet i can play metro on full settings wit hno lag. I should be fine. hope it's not to expensive but I think 20-30 would be pretty fair depending on hw long the game is.
