State of the game
Right now we are in full production on our Alpha build, this will include all of the following core mechanics.
  • Ship Construction
  • Ship Sub-Systems
  • Procedurally generated galaxies / sectors
  • NPC Faction Framework
  • Inventory / Itemization
  • Temporary dev UI
  • Economy Framework (closely tied with Faction systems)

The following list are items that are ready for alpha
  • Whole new texture system for ships.
  • Procedually generated planet textures
  • Procedually generated Galaxies and sectors
  • Inventory Framework
  • Faction Framework
  • Economy Framework
  • Completely changed the connection system int he builder we no longer use nodes (place the modules where ever you want.
  • Tons of new ship modules
  • Sectors are no longer limited by size
  • Subsystem Framework
Things that are being working on for the Alpha
  • Set up the new shipbuilder (using the new system)
  • Faction and Economy population
  • Subsystem stat pupulation / first pass
  • Module(hull, CC, Weapon, Engine) stat first pass

Only people who have Pre-ordered will get access to the Alpha.

Elentor has also been working full time on our In-game trailer we hope to have it ready by October 1st.

could you elaborate a little more on that concept? Is it similiar to; 'If your rep is -1 then you cannot trade with this station' ?

This is meant more from the perspective of the NPC faction, their economic state will determine their fleet sizes and impact if they can take over more territory. Player - NPC interaction will be Hostile, Neutral, or Friendly.
