Ack - 744 and didn't screenshot it...!

724 - I'm getting the feeling that the 700s are more or less the maximum you can feasibly get. It would be cool if playing the game well would allow you to get further than this! This way the game is always over relatively soon.

I just got 760 before the system collapsed. The real challenge seem to be those stations that spawn way out the distance at that point in the game...

Interesting, I've been trying to loop my tracks into hubs with one central loop, but it seems straight lines get higher scores!

719 is my best, using a tight central loop with all other lines branching off of it. I had just re-routed my red inner loop to ease congestion on the south-eastern line but it was too late:

I usually go for a larger inner ring and give it a high-capacity train, and make it cross the river and back, but haven't got into the 700s with this approach yet:

Other, less successful strategies:

662, best so far. best strategy for me is a west and east line going both north-south directions. Then two lines north and south going from west to east. Also, one along the river, and none of them should have more than 5 stations to keep time between departures minimal, preferably 4 minutes.

Too bad you cant make actual rings, like the circle line in London, would be cool if trains ran on a small circular path. Don't know if it would be more efficient, but it would look cool.

I managed to bring 731 passengers with the loop tactic. 1 major loop in the center connecting the north and the south of the river with upgraded trains and 7 stations. Then a six station loop south of the central loop. Two five station loops on both sides of the central loop and in the north another six station loop. Go loop tactics!

Just got 1027, using a technique I like to call "Big Green Shuttle Bus"[i.imgur.com], but which is probably more appropriately called "Cheating".

I made a high-capacity yellow loop as normal, but with only three branch lines. I kept the green line free to use as an ad-hoc "bus" service, connecting it to crowded stations as needed and removing it again once the passengers had disembarked elsewhere.

I also kept lots of awkward stations totally disconnected from the network and used the shuttle bus to empty them out now and again.

Also lots of pausing.

It'd be cool if there was an actual shuttle bus upgrade; a point-to-point line which disappears automatically after a single journey.

My high score is 717 on alpha5 (screenshot just before: http://imgur.com/U0WQcK6). Haven't tried alpha6 yet.

I've seen an 1102 that appeared to have five full lines - no shuttle line.

The lifting of the two tunnel limit has really allowed for more points in my experience! I've been using the Green as a shuttle after I saw the post about it above. I've gotten 970 so far!

This "Shuttle Bus" cheat is a very good idea. How Dinosaur Polo Club could fix it ?
