Do you use an engine for this game or is game made from the ground up . And if this is an engine would you make an SDK so other people make new games with it ?

This is made using Unity3D, we've heavily modified it so we can do our nice little effects with it :)

Are you interested in translating it in more languages?

Unity 3D !! Wow ... it looks like you can make more than a 3D game

you're game no doubt gets a few comparisons to the game "monoco". from the retro style graphics, to the perspective, the way your character's perception works, etc.

Were you inspired by the game? how does your game differ?

what makes your game stand out as unique?
Warrozo  [developer] Aug 30, 2013 @ 2:30am
@Stew We do indeed get a lot of comparisons to Monaco! I think this partly down to the fact we are creating a top-down 2D stealth game using volumetric lighting (Which Monaco is known for).

With Light, we wanted a more tactical approach to stealth. Instead of collecting diamonds around the level to get a higher score, we wanted to focus on specific objectives. We do not have a timer within the game (yet) to track how long it takes you as we'd like to let the player take their time around the levels to sneak past guards, pick locks, hack into terminals and generally explore the environments.

We take inspiration from games like Monaco only for the top-down volumetric style and we believe thats were the distinction between the two ends. Personally I feel its more akin to Introversion Softwares Subversion game, as it moves at a similar sort of pace with more of an emphasis on evading guards and the individual players ability to sneak.

I hope that answers that one :)

Will there be enemies other than the normal guards?

Yes there will be, far more that what is on shown now actually :) We've been developing for three weeks now so we wanted to get a good base to build from before adding more things :).

How much do you think it will be worth when it comes out ?

We haven't got a price point set yet.

will the game strictly be single player or are you toying with the idea of some kind of multiplayer?

Will there ever be the possibility of a level builder? Also is there a beta people can participate?

Will there be options for changing the color scheme of the player character, or some other form of single/multiplayer customization?
