Eschalon: Book III
Previous game experience required?
A few people have emailed me asking if playing Book 1 and/or Book 2 is required to enjoy Book 3. The answer is, most assuredly, no. Book 3 will start with all the plot-related info you need to get up-to-speed with the story. Also, all the Eschalon games tend to be fully "open from the start", meaning you really don't have to follow the storyline to enjoy it. You could just explore and collect loot ala rogue-like, and then come back and pick up the storyline later.
