One step at a time, let them get this out the gate , and maybe well see hordes , id like to see them come out and be able to fight each other like we do on the table top

It should be able to play both games... It could came like a new game or DLC that doesnt need the original game to play (like the Half-Life 2 episodes)

Better comparison would be things like the Company of Heroes expansions or Total War: Shogun 2 and Fall of the Samurai. If you owned the base version of one (so vanilla CoH or Shogun 2) you could still play with/against people who owned just the stand-alone expansion (Opposing Fronts and Fall of the Samurai, respectively) or who owned both.

All of the Opposing Fronts content was patched into vanilla CoH but you couldn't play as either of the new factions unless you bought OF, but having them there let you play against people who did have OF. Creative Assembly did the same when they released FotS - patched its stuff into the base game so that people who owned one could play against people who owned the other, even if they couldn't use the other game's content themselves.

They said once Warmachine Tactics is all out and a success they would do Hordes Tactics.
