235% Cap on Weapon Rounds?
Is there a reason the speed cap appears to be limited to 235% on the weapon related rounds? Also, it appears at higher speeds that I sometimes still get 'perfect' credit even if damage is taken.

Really looking forward to seeing the whole game (on PC), the demo still sucks me in sometimes.

Perfect refers to no damage taken. Missing is linked to medals. So it's possible to take no damage and recieve a perfect round, but miss a few times and recieve a silver medal.

Also the speed caps off at 235% on a few special stages because those stages are faster than normal mob rounds. However the stages that follow the last demo stage will get too hard to stay alive at those speeds and you'll see your speed modifier decrease.

Good to hear. So I guess the perfect status (on the end of stage screen) might be getting retained from an earlier playthrough of the stage. Was at nine out of ten health at the end of the stage.
