How does a newbie learn to use the program?
I know there are turtorials about but I can't seem to find one where someone explain the entire process of making a music piece and tips on making em sound right.

I don't think you'll find much tuts that explain how to make a track from start to finish because workflow practices are different for everyone (even 2 tracks made by the same person can vary in this) & everyone makes tracks in different genres. Basically: there is no "correct" process.

I think the best thing you can do (besides experimenting a lot with different plugins, sounds etc.) is search for a good youtube channel that will give you tips on both production & music theory (or even better: take production courses and/or learn how to play an instrument).

I always liked WarBeats a lot. That channel has a focus on hiphop but what you learn there can apply to different genres.

If you want to produce dubstep(-like) stuff, check out Seamless.

You should also probably check out Ste1438. His video series 'Beginner to Pro' is pretty good, imo.

Also, F1 is your friend. In other words: read the manual. :)

The best way to learn is to have a mess around with it,
and you can always check the fourms where you can see other people and get some tips

I'll say something that may be unpopular but it's true, before even thinking about using a DAW learn at least one instrument and the basics of Music Theory, if you're going to use a DAW for composing I'd recommend learning the Piano as you can use a USB/Midi keyboard to play just about anything you can imagine by using plugins and addons on FL Studio

About the software itself, the forum and Youtube are good places to go, Image-Line's channel on Youtube has some pretty cool advanced tips on it, all in all the information required is all over the net, all you need is some patience, being able to understand weird accents, and the ability to search, now go crazy and make some music :D

Some pretty solid advice, I'd say.

I disagree with this statement in fact a DAW can help you learn music theory. If you are interested in music production this should be the first software you get. Not only do they offer a free demo but once you buy it you receive lifetime updates. everything else Monnotorium said was spot on. Imageline even has its own youtube channel with awesome tutorials. The only downside of FLS is it will consume all of your free time. Have fun.

Image-Line has posted a "Getting Started" tutorial on their Youtube page. There are lots of tutorials on FL Studio there.

FL Studio is very easy to learn. Just take some time out and play it for a while. Look up some tutorials for it and you will be making beats and full songs in no time. I have been using it for about 2 years and recently upgraded to FL11 and i have to say it is the best DAW out there.
If you have any questions just message me.

This sounds like a nice program :) The program looks complicated but I guess it is possible to learn to use it by just experimenting.
Commander Fresh 2013年7月11日 15時38分
The program only becomes complicated when you're ready for it! Starting off, I've had an easier time learning this than most other professional DAW's.
Khausin 2013年7月13日 11時51分
It's easy to pickup after a couple tutorals

I've been using this just the trial version of this DAW for about a year now, and Fl Studio is harder to learn than most, ive spent countless hours watching tutorials and messing around with it, but once you get into that work flow this program is amazing. If you'r really wondering about it, go to the immage-line website and download the trial version. The only difference between the trial and the full is that you cant re-open saved files, but if you'r just learning how to use the program, its a good place to start.

Seamless an official fl studio affiliate is running a GREAT fl guide that teaches the BARE basics for anyone that has never touched to program. Here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGYoE903Nir5-wvI5ipGZMS6AYD1Le_iu
