Stats for this item?
I think it should shoot a slug that arches down after a little while but can do damage at any range (think of the rescue ranger) , with a 10% longer reloading time, but 5% better accuracy, with -10% damage.

tl;dr, shoots a slug that does damage at any range if hit with,
-10% dmg,
+10% slower reloading time,
+5 % accuracy.

I do remember that the term "Hand Cannon" was for a revolver, but what the heck.

+40% Faster firing speed
+30% Fast reload time
- Once shot, You can't stop it.

If I had to suggest stats for this item it would be:

+ 15% Damage
+ No overheal loss over time
- 20% larger bullet spread
- 40% more damage drop over distance
- 10% move speed.

Something along those lines.

maybe it should do :
+20% damage
+10% delay between shots
+10% longer reload time

I would run around with that weapon...

(+) 5% range increase
(-) cannot use teleporters or dispensers.

- While taking damage: reload speed slowed by 25% and accuracy reduced by 30%
- Unable to double jump while taking damage

It could be like a scattergun that awards scout for doing what he's meant to do: hit and run attacks. But would punish him for trying to directly attack enemies.

Hitscan weapons never had a range, and that minus is kind of overwhelming

+33% maginze cappacity
+30% accuracy
+30% fire rate
-35% reload speed
-no random crits

To everyone suggesting more magazine capacity: "Look at the model and do some freaking math"
The model has 6 holes in it, the scattergun has 6 shells in the capacity, increasing that amount will ♥♥♥♥ up the bloody model

I'm just saying make it shoot a slug that falls over time, kinda like the syringe guns' syringes,
it'd be an intresting idea in my opinion.
