Epic Battle Fantasy 4

Pricing?
Out of curiosity, how much will this cost on Steam? I'm assuming it will be a tad more than the premium pack found on Kongregate, so I expect close to $9.99?

I dunno, I'm pretty sure it's not really up to me. Check what Steam are charging for similar games.

4.99$ would be a fair pricing

If this were going for $4.99 I'd probably buy a 4 pack on day one :)

Near $10 does sound reasonable though.
$5 is too little since Kongregate are already charging more than that.

Anywhere between $5 and $10 seems fair to me. Any less and I would feel guilty, honestly... any more, and I would play along till $15... any more then $15 would feel like to much, though. : /

I'd pay 15 dollars for this game. Hell, I didnt technically pay for the Kongregate bonus since I just used powerup rewards.

I got about 42 hours out of EBF4 on Hard mode. It may be less next time since I know what Im looking for on Epic Difficulty but that may only take away maybe 2 hours tops.

That being said. Most games I play nowadays for 60$ I barely even get 10 on my first playthrough. Well worth the it for the time in my opinion.

heres an idea, make it free and make the premium cost money like on the flash game. like TF2.

I agree about 5 to 10 and i'd buy but [LP]ThE SIEnDeR MaN has a good idea, but i dont want to be rude or make anyone do anything.
APerfectCircle 20. apr 2013 kl. 2:31
I don't think it's worth more than $5
Dmmy 20. apr 2013 kl. 11:03
i'd pay $10, for the whole thingy mabob.
Keinji_Fox 20. apr 2013 kl. 11:11
I would feel 10-15 would be a perfectly fair range. I have gotten many hours of enjoyment out of the previous games and paying up to 20ish even would be fair as I would consider the difference to be repaying the creator of these for the past games. :3

Kongregate is the little league, Steam is getting into the big league where a lot more people play it. If its 10 bucks a few people that dont know what it is will get it, a few people that have already played it will get it out of loyalty to the game, but most who have already played it won't want to spend 10 bucks on a game that is largely free. You're basically offering a small DLC for a free game. Large game companies that sell AAA games sell DLCs for 10 bucks and offer more than a couple premium items. I would pay no more than 5 bucks out of loyalty because I love the EBF games, but otherwise it'll just feel like a ripoff. Sell it for 5 bucks and a LOT more people will buy. Just because Kong's selling it for 10 bucks doesnt mean you CAN'T go down. Don't get greedy and you'll go far.

It's Valve/Steam that sets the price, not the author, as far as I know. So it's kind of nonsensical to try and pressure kupo into keeping it below a certain price.

10$ would be okay imo. 15$ and above is a little high for most players probably.
