Combat type in Space Shock - Real time or Turn based
We would like to know which combat type would you prefer in Space Shock
Real time (ordinary dungeon crawlers) or 1st person Turn-based combat. Let us know please what Combat type
would you like to find in Space Shock or leave any suggestions to bring more fun and improve the game play.

Please leave it as turn based. There's plenty of real time based rpgs already out there. Few turn based. And no scifi turn based (excluding steampunk - which is not scifi) rpgs out there for a longtime.

I agree 100% with Nijuu ! Turn based would be awsome !
If the game will be the hot seat multiplayer, then I will buy at any price.
It must be TBS.

A true rpg is turn-based because you have to go off of the characters stats. Real-time goes off of the players twitch reflexes, thus it's a shooter not a true rpg.

motormouth.324: Thank you so much for your comment. We absolutely agree with you. There is nothing worse than you stop to use all your characters and their abilities and start to use only two of four etc.

I know the slection is over, but I'd just like to put it out there that a less traditional more RTS styled turn based would be interesting. Something like the combat in "Space Hulk: Acension". It would be cool to have a first person camera to show what your character sees during combat. Feel free to discard the suggestion if it is not to your liking as I don't know what program or language you are y=using to develop the game and thus do not know how hard it would be to code what I have suggested. Anyways, good luck with development.
