Can I put this on my Steam Wishlist somehow?
I already own all the games but would be totally down for this. Oh god am I looking forward to this. I'm just kinda afraid that between now and the games release I forget about it ... is there a way to get notified when it gets released or to put it on my Steam wishlist?

There is no way to add it to your wishlist before the release, but you can use the favorite system of the greenlight. Also, help the game to get upvotes by sharing the link with your friends or contacts of twitter and facebook.

What does favouriting this item do for me? Do I get notified when it gets released? Where can I view what I have favourited?
(I would share but I have neither a Twitter nor a Facebook Acc)

Sadly it doesn't notify you (thought it would be usefull to add thet feature), but it adds the game to a list to find it easily. You can see it in the greenlight frontpage, one of the buttons of the right.

You see announcements for your Greenlight favourites in: Community -> Friends
Valve always kept us informed when new games got greenlit or greenlit games have been released (Community -> Greenlight -> News).
