I love this design! Great job. I did find that with a high ping rate it tried the drag the front end down, causing you to stop, go into water/lava. I widened the center from one to two and added a front 2x2 hover engine. It gave me room to double the power and add a few more rcs units. This thing is a beast. Major props

i thought i had damaged something too by sheer collision, i even went soo far as to think that MAYBE one of the hover engines, or even a thruster was turned off.... nope... kept right on rolling and rolling :(

ugh, such awesome mining contraptions.... plauged by one minor hiccup.

oh well... i member the days when mounted drills werent a thing and ya had ta get out and pick yer ore up!

Yes its' a bug I have it as well with all of my HV's... Reported it already with video evidence.

1. relog (but can reoccur enarly instantly sometimes)
2. have macro that holds O permanently

Biggest problem thoug his the constant desynch in multiplayer. You have to press P every 5 seconds to make sure you didn't desynch and then relog... By the time you finish a single tunnel you relogged like 12x...
Also happens with the T2 drill but less often.

There must be a bug of sorts. Sometimes it gets really unstable, either wanting to flip over sideways or just acting really 'rear-heavy'. At first I thought I had damaged something on the craft, but it turns out that ALL the different drillers I've tried has the same phenomenon. Sometimes it's enough to turn off and exit the vehicle to fix it and other times a re-log will do the trick.

Yes I have the same issue, but the balance look perfect, generaly a Log-off and relog stop the forcing rotation.

For defend I do the same, I have a Smale CV deliver/defender for my protection

i gotta say i LOVE this thing.... BUUUUT i have a few issues
1) it flips over... constantly... like it WANTS to roll to the right while digging no matter what i do.
2) its totally defenseless, but this i can deal with beings whatever deposit i wanna "dril", my CV is always within striking distance to keep drones off my back.

I used to carry 2 of these on an Eclipse class (they fit PERFECTLY inside the HV bays), but sadly i had to ditch one on Aestus because it wouldnt right itself to get back out of the massive hole i dug while Zacosiom drilling. :( ...

that being said, this thing will stack x3 999 ores in no time!

if i could figure out how to fix the flipping issue, this thing would be totally PERFECT for mining ops!

Oh, I didn't now that the mobile contructor was that heavy.. also I mostly meant like a gatling for emergencies. =) Never mind tho, I've tried a few 'tunnelers/miners' and this is my favorite one yet.

@tilltugg : this is not a war engine the maniability is the primary requierment to pick up quikly a mine... constructor is very heavy and weapons take a lot of space. But In pvp mode you can put an auto roket launcher behind because on the top you can be stuck by the weapon ( but for this, some ppl have make some good stuf ) .
