Just wondering if devs visit the forums and post?

Has anyone seen a post from them other than the sticky posts in general discussion?

The other day I sent Sega a message and they told me to direct my questions here...

I get the feeling we're on our own?

I've added to the modding.dawnofwar wiki but can't get my page listed due to permissions, I would have thought that the guys running it would have seen the addition and added it to the navigation panel. Seriously though, I have a life and job too but I still get time to check the forums and reply to my youtube comments.

I find it really poor that we'd get a world builder tool (which would have taken a fair amount of time to produce) and just engough info to get the utter most basic map running (especiall considering the support page is actually called modding), then get stone walled for info, which, all of this has led to a flood of community maps that are all essentially as featurless as the next. (no offence guys, there are some great 'looking' maps out there)

It feels like I've hit the glass ceilign with this. I've done about as much as I can to improve the knowledge base of the community. I hate the feeling that I'm taking stabs in the dark at something that is, in fact, incomplete.

Don't blame yourself.
I tried to stream my middling but when nobody cares to watch or ask questions there is nothing we can do other than offering help and hope someone sees the light in the void we cast. Very poetic, lel. At least this forum isn't flooded with the hat from the main discussions. Not yet..

No, I went on the DoW forums and sent a direct message to ask a few questions, sadly I received no reply.

No idea if they come on here or not, I totally agree however that without understanding the underlying mechanisms or being able to implement them in a map, every map will be essentially 'window dressing', however nice that may be. It seems ridiculous to release a map making tool with no instructions on how to fully capitalise on its featureset. Im enjoying making maps, but its unlikely to last.

Been looking at some of the old CoH2 World Builder tutorials to try and find out more about its functionality, apparently its the same version (almost). . . so some of these may help:

Draimond I contacted Gorb for your issue.
Relic doesn't perscribe permissions to edit its wiki, it's 3rd party through wikidot: https://www.wikidot.com/default--flow/login__LoginPopupScreen?originSiteId=1433552&openerUri=http://modding.dawnofwar.com

He says, "What issues are you having with the wiki? You have to register with the service as it's a third party domain (I did so only last week; this wasn't something Relic activated for me) and I tested this morning and was able to edit the following article successfully:

http://modding.dawnofwar.com/world-builder "

Gorb was able to test and edit a page this morning without an issue. You're registered with wikidot right?
