ERROR "Failed to lock vertex buffer in CMeshDX8::LockVertexBuffer" FROM Engine Error, need help guys !!

so, i download it, and i just got this error after i created a game in DOTA 2, after about 1 mins loading, game shut down, and this box pop up

---------------------------
failed to lock index buffer in CMeshDX8::LockIndexBuffer

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
ps: i use the "can you run it APP checked, i pass the test, which i should able to run this game"

help me out plz ~

i have the same problem and i don;t know what to do

same here ....re-installed ,then it worked ....but 1 day later i restated my pc...the same error again ,then i re-installed it again and now....it dont work
