I dont see the point of workshop
Excuse me if I sound like a complete idiot (I bet I do) but whats the point of the workshop if you cant use any of the items?

You post the items, people vote on them (more should release them as mods, but some do it) and the ones that Valve likes they add.

It's a way for Valve to add community content to the game easily and efficiently. If they see something they like in there, they'll add it to the full game, so players can purchase/craft/find it. A part of the money made off of said item will be given to the contributor.

You may notice a star next to some items that means that they have a chance of getting in the game heck it says so next to the star you may not notice that
