Workshop: TAG categories
We plan to add quite some new tags categories ...

More tags shall be added to allow better filtering and searching of missions uploaded to STEAM workshop:

Multiplayer (checkbox):
•Cooperative
•PvP
•Persistent

Note: Manually set value by author, Coop might be autofilled (see below) but we have no PvP / Persistent in description.ext

Gameplay (checkbox):
•Dynamic
•Linear
•Stealth
•Daylong
•Day
•Night

Note: Manually set value by author, helps to define gameplay style via TAG filter.

Vehicle types (checkbox):
•Autonomous
•Combined
•Fixed wing
•Naval
•Rotary wing
•Submersible
•Tracked
•Wheeled

Note: Manually set value by author, helps to define vehicles used via TAG filter.

Player count (drop down menu):
•2-4
•5-8
•9-16
•17-24
•25-32
•33-48
•49-64
•65-96
•97-128
•129-255

Note: Value can be automatically filled by engine when publishing from the mission values (spawns) e.g. http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Multiplayer_Game_Types

•Coop
•DM
•TDM
•CTF
•SC
•CTI
•RPG
•Sandbox
•Seize
•Defend

Note: This one is quite important for scenarios and campaigns and should be only in specific language(s)


logical complains or really worthy suggestions, ideas are welcomed

NOTE: this is more of experimental so we get some feedback on it before enabled

suggestion for Gameplay Category: 'Training/Practice' missions;

also CQB or some other way to differentiate between tight, up close missions, and whole island battles. (geographical battle scale?)

Very nice to see this thread!
IDEA: I think all the gametype you set for the multiplayer (Coop,DM,TDM,CTF,SC, especially RPG, armory, firerange, mission,...) should also be available! As you can see, there's already a lot of mission created on basis of Fallout, Metal Gear Solid, etc, etc... that are not at all in the regular scenarios. So these options should also be possible for SP mission!

ye that's the plan, it was more of the list target
as the MP list is already present in engine (used for gamespy query protocol of gametypes)

Sorry, I'm stupid! What I wanted to say is to have all these options (those listed in my first post) also available for the SP mission, not only for the multiplayer! My bad :S

i know what you wanted to say :) i updated our analysis with that :)
If there could be a filter for missions on the basis that they need other mods that would be helpful....may also help the authors not get down voted for something that isnt there fault.
