Self-illumination in importer
I'm having an issue getting self illumination to work in the in-game importer. I have a model with 2 materials (1 as a base and 1 for transparency) and I have the areas I want to illuminate (as well as paintable) marked white in the alpha channel of my texture.

I don't notice any difference when I check the "Self-Illumination" box in the VMT and don't notice a difference when I provide and all-white "Self Illum Map" in the <optional> slot.

Here's some shots of my configuration:

It looks like everything is set up correctly. You'll definitely want a self-illum mask which will dictate what parts of the model are self-illuminated. Try checking the "additive" box. I'm also not 100% sure, but have you tried it without paint?

Thanks for the reply! I'm not exactly sure what I did, but I managed to get it to work without a mask with paint!
