When will we get higher quality models for source film maker?

I heard they may release higher quality versions of all the models like they did with TF2.
I want to make a source film like the quality in the dota 2 trailer.
Anyone know IF and WHEN this will be released?
Or should I just model higher resolution versions myself for weeks?
