Steam Greenlight

What percentage of games have you upvoted?
Ok so I already made a thread on how many games you upvoted, but I just got a new statistic on my Greenlight page and I assume everyone else got it too: How many I have voted on in total.

So I've voted on 566 items and upvoted 18 of them; I have upvoted 3.18%

That's actually higher than I was expected. Better go downvote some more games to correct that!

Edit: I'm now at 18/300: an even 3%

Edit: I've now voted on every single game. 966. And I've actually decided to un-upvote a few things so I'm on 16 upvotes. 1.656%

196/647.... I am going to be broke for years to come. :P
Most of the games I have voted for I do intend to buy at release, but obviously at the start of greenlight I must have gotten over zelous and just voted on anything that looked remotely interesting... I'm probably not going to buy 196 of the games I have voted on not to mention I still have a few hundreds left yet to vote on. ^__^

That said though, I am completely eclectic when it comes to entertainment, which is why I find it so incredibly hard to narrow down the games I would actually like to play in the long run, since I obviously don't have enough time in the day to play everything I'd like to play -and- work on my own games -and- take care of my family. :D

saw mines yesterday, but now I don't see it anymore again.

EDIT: nvm, refreshed greenlight and I see it again, so, how do you see which games you've upvoted?

"Items you've voted for" on the right.

20/174 so far, most of which have been greenlit (1 released, which I've bought)

Although, it's fair to say that probably doesn't reflect the true %age, because I may have discovered some of those 20 games from news stories or other people's collections and hence, searched and voted yes.

The actual percentage I vote yes when generating a queue is much smaller.
I've been taking the question very literally - "would I buy it? Yes or no" which means a few game that are probably good and may well get picked I vote no simply because I don't like the genre.

I suppose, if I buy all the games I've said yes to, I'm perhaps reaching the limit (depending on cost and exactly when they are released)

Do people think they will weight our votes behind the scenes based upon whether we do buy the released game after saying yes?

I've upvoted 145/524 games so far. That's probably way higher than the average.

I'm sympathetic to indie developers so I tend to upvote games that I may not really want to buy, but I thought they were cute, funny, well-designed, or original. I look at Greenlight almost every day, but I want to make an informed decision before I vote. I look at almost every gameplay video and try to read the user comments. This takes a long time which explains why my total votes are so low.

Of all the games that are currently Greenlit, I voted up on 70% of them.

18% here. 170/929. I upvoted a lot of things that I thought were good concepts or that I thought deserve to be on Steam even if they weren't games I'd play. Of course, I downvoted a lot of games simply based on genre, so maybe I'm just too lenient in general.

Around 17%. I only voted on games that fall in a genre that I like.

35/113 (31%). I found most of them through searching collections instead of using my queue. Helps to cut down all of the games in the wrong genre (much more than the filter tags, at least).
AusSkiller Nov 7, 2012 @ 9:51pm
I voted for 40 of 933, so that's 4.2% for me.
Kristoffer Nov 8, 2012 @ 3:10am
300 out of 926.

So that's around 30% for me.

111/935 I thought that was a lot but some of you are super positive!
