The Aperture Science Review Exchange Initiative.
The ASREI initiative was launched out of a desire to provide reviews and feedback to the chambers and designers who have none. I will review any map posted on this thread. Keep in mind however that I'm quite a busy person and won't instantly review your chamber.

All criticism offered will be of a constructive nature. I will never be cruel or mean spirited. It applies the other way as well. I won't just sprinkle your map with adulation. I will try to be as straight forward and fair as possible.

There are some rules that need to observe if you want to be reviewed. Rule 1, if you have more than one map you want feedback on please only post after your first chamber has been reviewed. Rule 2 Please post maps that are possible to complete, I’m willing to playtest and look for bugs but don’t post impossible maps. Final rule, as I will review your chambers in a constructive manner please respond to such criticism in kind.

All right I think that covers everything. If you have questions comments or concerns, inform me via the comments. I look forward to your posts!

Turns out I don't have a single chamber with NO feedback, except for two that I know are terrible (they are mazes, a tired and trite concept that just punishes the player for no reason).

If you have chambers with comments but they don't have the level of feedback you want then I'll be happy to review them.

You also launched the Escape Maps challenge right? So as soon as my Escape map is repaired, you will have this one to try... So I will not propose another map to you for the moment ^^

Here's one that didn't get many ratings.

That's very considerate of you, so you have my thanks. I made one that I thought was interesting, but never really got any reviews or plays. Perhaps there's something wrong with it. May be a little too twitchy. I'll leave it for you to decide, if you find the time to review it. Thanks again.

im not sure how the above did that, where they posted their actual maps, the best i can do is tell you to look in my workshop. i currently have 19 test chambers (a standard test track) none of them are very hard, (its hard to make hard chambers >_<) but anyway, i would be very happy if you would review all 19, as NONE of my chambers have seen any traffic.

I'll check your maps out. I know how frustrating it can be to publish maps and have it seen by no one.

What I can tell you for starters, is you want to change the titles. Don't put your name in the title, we can see who the author is. It's hard to judge what people use to subscribe to a map, but for instance, I look for a combination of Engaging Picture + Interesting Title = I'll go into that map's workshop page. Then, upon visiting the workshop page, it's Description + Comments = I'll subscribe.

Not always, but generally that's how I pick. So if I were you, I would rename all the maps for more interesting titles.

I just finished my first map. I started with something I wasn't sure had been done before and built off of it. It may help to note that crouching will keep you from bouncing. Thanks in advance.

This is my first map and I'm honestly not sure if this is a good one or if it's just annoying or full of played out elements. Thanks for doing this if you get a chance to check it out.

Feedback would be great to have, thanks!

The following puzzle is a difficult logic/execution puzzle.

The first gameplay element, when you enter the chamber, can be somewhat frustrating. So yes, I'm aware of it. My advice is to just keep trying until it works, because it's the only time in this chamber that you'll have to use a puzzle element in a strange way - I promise.

My First attempt at a map.

Any feedback would be good. I would really like to know how difficult other people find it as its hard to know when you know all the solutions!

Great news. Thought we lost you there, for a second. Glad to see you're still here. Take your time. You had lots of responses. :D
