How do you make animated textures?
I looked around and I'm not really sure how to do this, sorry if I'm being really stupid, I'm still kind of new to this.

Is it even possible or what..

I have no idea what an animated texture is. Does such a beast exist in Skyrim? I thought all the textures were DDS.

I would assume that you could somehow do it with scripting.. maybe?

After further investigation, I think that I may have to constantly change the loaded model to do this for something that isn't a particle system or the like, so now, how do I do that, and is that the most efficient way to do it?

There has got to be a way other than swapping models, right?

I have no idea what it is that you're trying to do.

There really is supposed to be a way of doing it, without model swapping or scripting.
The answer lies most likely in the NIF file.
I would suggest you ask it on bethesda forums or TES alliance. They are more capable of helping you.
