Proposed Mod: Completed Ritual Quests
I have always found it odd that there were not Enchanting, and even Alchemy rituals (like those of the other magic schools). And yes, I do understand that Alchemy is technically in the stealth area: I think that's silly, but my ideas on Bethesda's game direction are unimportant.

I want to put together two new quest lines: I have the basic modding knowledge but I lack the advanced modding knowledge. If I've sparked your interest, respond here or shoot me a PM. I really think this can go far.

I think I see where you are going - so is this like a "Graduation" ceremony? If so, what exactly would happen? There is Enchanting services offered in College of Winterhold and all the Mages throughout Skyrim - you can find an Enchantment table in all the major cities and some alchemy tables about everywhere throughout Skyrim?

So glad you responded. Yea, something like that. So, with the major schools of magic, when your skill hits 90 there is a special quest you can receive from the College of Winterhold. For example, when conjuration is at 90 you can complete the Atronach Forge quest. I want to create two quests like this for Alchemy and Enchanting.

The problem is, my vision includes some new meshes, textures, and stuff (entirely brand new items.) I have no experience with creating items, and don't have access to the software to learn.

For Alchemy, the player would gather together a series of very rare ingredients that Tolfdir would begin to cultivate at the college. The ingredients would be available on a monthly basis (like mining) and would be usable for some very powerful potion. I haven't reached a decision about what.

For Echanting, the player would gather some meteoric glass, some research notes, and make contact with an Ayleid specialist that has arrived in Skyrim. All on the orders of the eenchanting specialist at winterhold. They would then create WElkynd and Varla stones. Further more the player would be rewarded with a special enchantment.

Oh, and forgive me if anything doesn't make sense. I only just woke up.

Okay - I actually like that.

The only three "graduation" quests are from:

Destruction Ritual Spell you get from: Faralda
Conjuration Ritual Spell you get from: Phinis Gestor
Restoration Ritual Spell, you get from: Colette Marence

and from Tolfdir you can get: Dragonhide spell tome.

So this would / could be a cool MOD QUEST idea ...

There is Ritual Spell quests for Alteration and illusion as well.
Alteration is through Tolfdir, so I need to find someone else for Alchemy.
Illusion is through.....Drevis Neloren.
These are all labeled as the "Ritual Spell Radiant Quests."

I didn't know about the dragonhide spelltome. Or I've forgotten. What is it?

As for the mod, basically right now, I'm looking for someone who can create Varla/Welkynd Stones for me. Because of my lack of access to the tools to do meshes and the like, I have to recruit. Naturally an equal share of credit would be forwarded.

OH! Nevermind! I just answered my own question: Dragonhide is the spell reward for the Alteration quest.
